Fossils

Zhou et al. (1990) divided the conodont fauna into lower Prioniodus lingulatus zone and upper Pygodus anserinus zone, and changed the nautiloids Trilacinoceras zone established by Qiao (1986) into Lituites-Trilacinoceras zone, considering the more widespread correlation of Lituites. Additionally, this formation yields trilobite T. convergens and graptolite Pseudoclimacograptus scharenbergi stenostoma.
